A fairly new addition to the realm. It started when an elf by the name of Lyari Alavara moved from Verosttuul to escape the hustle of city life roughly 28 years ago. She had no means to take care of herself aside from hunting small game but she had grown accustomed to a better life from being raised in the realm of the Silver Queen. So in order to supplement her lifestyle she decided to set up a trade shop and inn called the Ox and Cart. It wasn’t long after she set up shop that she had a one night stand with a human trader moving through the region. It wasn’t consensual and led to her hunting down the trader and putting an end to the trader’s life. However, the trader’s legacy was created that night as she became with child.
She gave birth to the child and name him Halword Alavara. As Halword grew, she trained him in how to take care of the Inn with her. Because the Ox and Cart was the only trading post between Greenmeadow and Anarya it quickly pulled in enough money to expand. The inn became three stories and some travelers started to take residence near the Inn including a Wizard by the name of Vywyn who built a tower outside of the fledgling village and claimed that he would protect it if there was every a need.
As time went on other families moved to the area including a family of Elves and a family of Gnomes. The growth attracted a Half-Orc blacksmith named Dwenn Hammerman who set up a rudimentary forge and began crafting basic items to sell in the Inn. As things started really looking like it was starting to grow from village to a small town, people started to go missing. Luckily a group of travelers happened through town in time to lend some help to the situation finding out that some creatures from the forest, specifically Grell, had been luring tenants away from the village and devouring them. The travelers quickly put an end to these creatures and went about their way. Because of their influence in saving the Gnome family which consisted of a Father and young daughter, the youngling named Tulkes has declared that one day she too will grow up to travel the world helping those in need like her hero Seldira.
Because of a declaration by the king that Orcs and Half-Orcs are now enemies of the realm, men that travelled to Oxmore sought to take Dwenn in for the reward. Tulkes’s father sought to help Dwenn escape and they tried to fight back against the men that were bearing down on them. Tulkes, who has been practicing magic to impress Seldira, cast her first true spell, Magic Missile, and killed these men. She was under the impression that her spell put them to sleep. The three of them have recently run from the town to avoid anybody coming to seek justice for these kills. Tulkes has started to adventure.
