Originally created in the year 688 I.B. as a villa for Atoka Calomis, now known as the Calomis the corrupt, to hide the child away that he intended to raise and train to take his position upon his death. It was destroyed during the war that overtook Fyr’s Shadow from 712-717 I.B. and anything that was related to Calomis was dismantled.
After nearly 200 years of sitting in ruin, Pinepass was created because of trade. It rests at the axis of two rivers that flow inland making it a good hub for commerce.
Notable NPC’s in the area
Kissek – Owner of the provisions store and leader of the mines just outside of town.
Chauncer – The main monk that leads the church of Pelor.
Vax – Owner of the blacksmithing shop in town and smith of the arms and armor. Has issues with Papa Ophus.
Papa Ophus – A retired guard that spends his days training the guards of Pinepass. Claims Vax is a cheat.
Oogok – An adventurer who found his way into town and garnered favor with the townsfolk. His half-orc heritage has put a price on his head but the people seem alright with hiding him in the village so nobody can collect on the bounty
Marlon – An up and coming member of the Emerald Eye guild with a distrust of anything Orc.
Simon Hatherback – The leading noble of the town who resides in the town hall.
Flynn Bricklebom – A half-elf that runs Kissek’s Provisions when Kissek is away at the mines.
