NPC’s

Aethelhun Ryder – The king of the South. When the party came to town, they had to relay message of Falvindar agreeing to open up its borders to talks. He then asked if they would retrieve a small token from the historic ancestral home of his family. Upon return, he pulled a small bit of paper with a number written on the back claiming that it will unlock something he had thought lost to him. He is the head of the Southern armies and at direct odd with the North because his brother was next in line to take the throne in the North based on marriage agreements. He was instead publicly killed and displayed through the streets of Chandal. The king seeks retribution for his loss.

Arnold – The leader of the Church of Pelor in Avendale. Arnold is well known in the society for his good deeds. While he has grown old, he refuses to let it slow him down. Even in cases of extreme fighting, he has been known to grab his white elm staff and stand in the midst of the conflict. Because of his vigor and unwavering morals, he was elected to the seat of power of the Atoka where he rules to this day.

Chaustouer – A male elf with dark, wood colored skin. He is one part of a two person team that goes around performing shows for money, or doing deceptions. Also for money. His partner is Nimentthulla. They are members of the Lutes and Lyres.

Corporal Anheusers Hammerbeard – Father of Artin Hammerbeard and captain of the guard in Camorr. Nothing he does is rash. He is a man of patience and wisdom, but can be slow to act.

Darwin Ingotsmelt – a Dwarf passionate about his ability to pull the best stones from the earth to create wonderful structures and monuments. His buildings were crafted well over 200 years ago and still stand strong to this day. He was sought after by so many that he could never get a moment of peace to himself. Eventually he became fed up with his fame in the surrounding towns and cities and sought to find a place where he could be alone. He walked off into the forests and never returned. His prized pickaxe was later found in the Dragonash Crypt.

Denis Barriston – Denis was the leader of guard training in Avendale. While training, he came upon a group of wondering adventurers who started turning heads for their skill level. Denis approached one of the most skilled, Amy (played by Chrissy), and questioned if she would help to train his men. In the process they started flirting which eventually turned into something more. Eventually they became married and gave birth to a daughter who bears dragon like markings.

Esper Birch – A Druid Briarling met at the entrance to Old Camorr. He gave Elefain a batch of berries meant for a shopkeep in town and warned of a dark magic that was growing in the area.

Geralt – A dark skinned wall of of muscle. Geralt is one of the higher ranking monks of Pelor in Avendale. He comes from the south west, a city of fighters and self proclaimed strong men, but he does not fight if he can avoid it. Geralt is very straight and to the point, not a man of many words.

Gunthren del Rollst – Not much is known about this person aside from what was found in a journal inside an abandoned shack near Falvindar. You can read the entries here.

Harv – A human bartender in Yaihatsia which is just North of Kyaht that seems to know a lot about the small town he works in.

Ilraen of House Melwasul – A young, fair skinned Elf from the noble house of Melwasul and love of Mjolter of clan Bazol. She was found with her checks stained with tears, her lover had disappeared. She told of an Elven band that had hunted him and his band down and imprisoned them on false charges. The group rescued him from the prison and returned him to her. They made their plans to run away together.

Imonis Phute – High King of Falvindar. As the high king, it is his duty to see to it his people and traditions are honored. His son, Yoranis, looks up to his father greatly. Though Falvindar has been an isolationist society, the high king was recently convinced it was in the greater interest of his kingdom to open talks with Camorr. He sent a group of adventurers as a mouthpiece to open talks with the king of Camorr.

Jancho – A small, squirrely Gnome who was found stuck between a rock and a hard spot. He was trapped by a giant pseudopod  plant and trying to fend off a pack of wolves looking to eat him for lunch. He had nothing to give for his rescue, so instead he offered to give free newsletters to the party to be delivered by carrier pigeon.

Jane Eyre – The leader of the thieves’ guild. A wily thief who rules her guild with strict rules, not much is known about her. On the few instances she has been seen, she has been covered in black robes, hiding in the shadows. As it turns out she is in league with a creature from the Shadowfell. Though she was slain, she seems to have returned to the material realm now covered in more markings.

Jareg Stonecliber Swiftfoot Giantsbane Wolfstalker – An old Gnome guard of Thornburrow that travels the outskirts of the land seeking to keep the people of his town safe from any harm. He was a part of an old group of adventurers several decades back that helped to quell a group of occultist lycanthropes and fears the return of the group at some point as one of the leaders managed to escape.

Jordon Thrush – Until recently believed to be behind the drug trade and perhaps behind the disappearances of children in Camorr. He is second in command in to Artemis Hammerbeard. He is known as the Hero of the South for once standing his ground fighting off a Northern troop single handedly while allowing a small village a chance to escape before their homes were destroyed. He holds that title with honor, but it can cause him to act out of ego and without thought at times. Which it did during fighting with a Northern camp. He then came face to face with a Half-Orc named Gilgamesh who slew him in a cold rage.

Larid (Larry) Blackriver – A grizzled, old Dwarven bard from Bronzebottom who left because his wife wanted to see the world. The king didn’t give his blessing to the worker dwarf who was told if he left, he could never return. He chose to leave anyway with his wife and child, Meagean. At one point they ran into a band of Gnolls who captured them and made them watch as they ate their daughter in front of them. He and his wife escaped, but she was never the same. After she passed, he set up shop near the river leading to the sea under a company known as Larry’s Ferries. The group retrieved a locket with the image of his family in it from the old spot where he lost his daughter and he agreed to ferry them for free. They later bought out his company allowing him to stay on long enough to train the new employees.

Lalien – A small Elven child from the noble town of Gwedthel. She approached the group asking for them to check on a friend that she made out in the forest. She said she would do it but her parents wouldn’t let her out there anymore. It turned out to be a psuedodragon and joined the adventurers back into the city where they gave it to her and she thanks them with a small trinket of minor worth.

Lord Quentin and his son Juiles – A nobel family from the town of Camorr. Though little is known about the flamboyant lord Quentin, it can be said that he is willing to pay out when threatened. His son was recently held for ransom and before he was returned, Quentin funded the town guard to make certain that whoever was behind this was found and brought to Justice.

Manik Hollensbee – The governing leader of Thornburrow. He prefers to see himself as a simple leader of his people rather than an official ruler of the town. He hopes to look out for what is best for those that seek safety inside his town’s walls and is willing to seek outside influence to help in these endeavors if situations arise.

Midge – Also known as Widow Midge. Her plight was to bring attention to the children  being lost to a mysterious entity in the streets. She was collecting money to distribute to those that had lost their own to this group. It has recently been revealed that this money was actually being used to hire a group of mercenaries to kidnap a noble’s kid. Midge believed that if the noble’s were to suffer the same as the poor, something would finally be done about it, though her plan backfired when the group she hired got greedy and demanded a ransom for the child. She is now awaiting execution.

Mjolter of clan Bazol – A young human from a roaming Barbarian band, he is in love with Ilraen of House Melwasul who is considered a noble in the eyes of Falvindar. Their love is ruefully opposed because of the differences in their stations and also due to racial tensions between Humans and Elves. He has come to this region to prove himself in the eyes of Kord by going to a ceremonial burrow to battle a Galeb Duhr. His only problem is that it is currently being ransacked and desecrated to be changed to a temple of Gruumsh. He plans to meet with Ilraen after the party helps him reclaim his area.

Nimentthulla – A fair skinned, female Elf. She is one part of a two person team that goes around performing shows for money, or doing deceptions. Also for money. Her partner is Chaustouer. They are members of the Lutes and Lyres.

Nolton Bodkin – A dark skinned human from Camorr who runs a potions shop. He asked Elefain to retrieve some berries from a Druid named Esper Birch and in return offered her a discount to his wares.

Raoulin – The main Elven baker in Falvindar. He was worried about a new Elf setting up his own shop and starting competition, putting him out of business. The group helped blackmail the other baker out of a job and forced him to work for Raoulin. They then convinced him to sell his shop rights to them and they started the franchised business “Across the Street Bakery”.

Rilouh – A beautiful half Half-elf with raven hair and skin kissed by the sun. The is the stern and cynical owner of a general wares shop in Ghattas, she helped with the information about the Rakshasa and mentioned her lost ward who thought it would be smart to wander off into the dessert to prove himself to her. She would like proof of what has come to him, but isn’t willing to risk her own life. It was proven that the child is still in the wild somewhere alive. She later became the business contact for Artin in rebuilding the town.

Roy – a small nobody who stumbled into a spy situation. Given the choice of either death or helping to infiltrate Jordon Thrush’s ranks, he chose the better option allowing him to come out ahead. Though he seems very nervous every time he is approached.

Saheed – A cowardly, human historian from Ghattas. His hair is pitch black and he is very thin and gangly. He claimed to have killed a Rakshasa by accident while younger and trying to learn magic. He has been scared for his life for its return ever since. He struck a deal with the monk in town to use healing magic for them in turn for their protection. With the temple destroyed and most of the monks dead, he asked the group to help.

Torbald Sezzak – King of the North. There are those that believe that he was responsible for the the death of the Southern King’s son in an attempt to keep the South from putting somebody on the throne of the North and capitalize on the power.

Venomfang – A young, green dragon happened upon on in a small abandoned town called Thundertree. His presence continues to pop up and each time he is beaten it becomes more and more embarrassing for him.

Ynndelfa – A powerful Elven wizard. He fell prone to a magical backlash through his tampering with scrying spells to try and see the future. It caused him to be able to see variations of the future through one eye while viewing the past with the other. He keeps a bandage draped over one eye at a time to help sort out the confusion of his site. He warns the players against the isolationist attitudes begging them to open the eyes of the high king of Falvindar because remaining cut off will only lead to another Great Race War.
